We love collage! When you unleash your creativity, it really is a medium with no limits. We recently hosted a collage night for one of our Sketchbook Workshops (which you can still sign up for!), and everyone had a blast. They created some amazing art, too!
The best part about collage is that it can literally be anything. Take any trash you have around the house, glue it to a piece of paper, and after a while you'll have something fully unique and entirely YOU! Grocery receipts, ticket stubs, business cards, packaging, stickers, and anything else that can have glue applied to it can be part of collage.
I like to use things to tell a story. For example, if I go to the city to see a concert, maybe I'll make a collage with the receipt for my train ticket, the packaging from a snack I bought on the way, a piece of confetti from the concert, and the tags from the t-shirt I bought at the merch table. But collage can be anything you want, and that's the beauty in it. Here are some amazing collages we used as inspo in our latest Sketchbook Workshop, along with the links if you want to take a closer look for yourself!
